There are several milestones that our company uses to measure personal development and suitability for advancement to higher levels of social responsibility. One of these milestones is career selection and achievement. Some individuals may never find a satisfying vocation, while others know what they want from the day they can communicate. An easy way to reduce the unpleasant friction of choosing a career is to be self-aware. Understanding what makes a person happy, satisfied, and the things that are important to them, is the easiest way to narrow down the world's infinite possible occupations and ensure job satisfaction. There are many ways to achieve personal enlightenment, perhaps the simplest and most effective way is to take a career development-oriented course.Part I. Self-ExplorationAlthough I had already chosen a career at the beginning of this course, many things about myself were re-emphasized through our self-exploration series. The Personal Globe Inventory enlightened me regarding the change and strengthening of some elements of the professional personality. Before starting my position as an athletic trainer with the Arizona Rattlers, I worked as a tanning salon manager for five years. Since the salon was owned by a husband and wife who had their own careers, I accepted the responsibility of running the entire business. With my previous experience in school and work in different areas, I found myself forced to take on tasks in which I had no experience. As I took on these tasks like accounting, programming, advertising/marketing, and staffing, I found it was easy to thrive. As you might imagine, my expertise in other areas has grown and my versatility has expanded significantly. This is reflected in my... center of the card... continues to do so. Money is not the root of happiness; however, I will not ignore the fact that having money is much easier than not having it. Furthermore, as someone who wants to have children in the future, I am not willing to feel incapable of providing them with the essentials of life. Furthermore, as a woman working in the athlete world, I am aware that I may encounter some difficulties related to the stigma of this situation. I may be perceived as homosexual, accused of sexual harassment, or even sexually harassed. However, I will not let possible problems affect my motivation to achieve my passion. As I have already developed many wonderful connections in the worlds of sports and medicine, I am more than confident that over time my opportunities and knowledge will grow tremendously. I am convinced that I have all the tools to be successful in my career.
