I think it all started with the interpretation of the Bible. Fuller makes several references to the Bible. In this century women have made much progress towards equality for the future. It's important to remember that even though women are closer than ever, we are still not afforded complete equal rights. Many men, especially by tradition, still believe that a woman's job is to cook, clean and take care of children. The stereotypical role of men is to financially support a family. It is only in recent times that women are able to "get out of the kitchen" and enter the world of work
