The industrial revolution changed the way of life of many people in the long term. They have changed the way of life of many people. This industrial revolution caused a great change especially in family roles in the long run. These family roles include women's roles and men's roles. As a result, it has made work life and family life so distant (Tronto 93). This is very disadvantageous in the long run. In this case we will see how and why this happened. This period was characterized by a change in family expectations and roles. This was very bad. In this, family life was therefore considered more for women while working life was considered more for men. This change was far-reaching in the long term. That period produced a great change that is still experienced today in the long term. This change is still present as most of the work life is left to the man while the majority of the family life is left to the woman. In this way, most family conflicts require trying to make role changes. However, these notions caused the formation of people's way of life. It modeled all the duties and roles of family members, especially men and women, in different ways. These industrial revolutions would also cause many more changes in work and family life in the future. This problem is very critical in the family. It should therefore be managed with great care in order to avoid family breakdowns as is happening today. This is very important if the family is to remain very strong and peaceful in the future. It is therefore the responsibility of family members to make sure they discuss the topic (Tronto 112). There are so many ways this notion is spread by sh...... middle of paper ......g great results in the future. However, some of the positive effects should be enriched. But in the long run the industrial revolution should not be the cause of domestic conflicts. Men should help women with family work (Triece 23). This will be done by assisting them with their household chores, teaching the children and showing a lot of care. Women should also help their men to ensure a good financial situation for their family. This in the long term would help eradicate the contemporary belief that work and family life are very separate spheres that emerged due to the industrial revolution. Work Cited Triece, M.E. (2009).
