The author EF Schumacher in his book titled Small is Beautiful, insisted on the quote "The end justifies the means" to propose a solution to economic problems since everyone can be rich. It was a statement suggested by Niccolò Machiavelli in his book entitled “The Prince”. According to Wikipedia's definition this is an ethical theory that holds that the consequences of one's conduct are the ultimate basis for any judgment about the rightness or wrongness of that conduct called consequentialism. This means that the final result will balance all the possibilities and ways taken to reach the end. It is an irrational quote that destroys all community values. So I want to refute the quote by replacing the phrase “The ends do not justify the means”. It stands out that of consequentialism and its philosophy known as 'deontology' (Wikipedia). This theory explains that means always connected to rules and regulations must therefore be in a moral way. Furthermore, with the emphasis on religious teachings, the threat of ethics and the importance of travel are the essential factors from which the phrase “the ends justify the means” derives. Almost all religions of the world emphasize the good way of conducting one's ends. Generally, religious teachings always follow the preaching of one's God. Almost all religious belief systems emphasize the devotional path of the purified soul leading to salvation. No religion in the world taught that the path to your goal could be evil. For example, if we take Hinduism and Buddhism, both religions believe in "karma". Karma is the law of cause and effect that can lead to salvation. It means that, according to the deeds of the action of the present life, the future life will be affected... at the center of the card... of the worldly life. So they say that travel is important. In short, when we say justify we mean directly 'right'. Accordingly, the ways to understand that the end justifies the end means that whatever the means, evil or strange, will be considered good as long as it provides the end result. In my opinion, this is completely incorrect. This kind of sentence is like asking young people to do evil things to achieve their goal. However some may refute my opinion that the end does not justify the means by showing the ramifications, but this is a reason for guilt for doing evil things. Since we are not omniscient we are unable to know the reaction of every action. So, it is better to keep track of our actions, which travel towards the goal. Finally, the end never justifies the means because every end is only the means to achieve another end. Works cited by Wikipedia
