Emily Dickinson, one of the most iconic poets of the 20th century. Her imagination, her writing style, and the way she captured her audience is what made her unique from many other poets and authors. Emily Dickinson was born on December 10, 1830 in Amherst, Massachusetts and would remain there all her life, and lived the last years of her life as a recluse, writing poetry.
