The Most Wonderful Teacher When many of my friends remember Mrs. Brenner's AP US History class, the response they give is "UGH!!! All that work!" I have to admit that I have done more homework and essays than I have ever done in my life. But I learned more from her than from any other class. The work was never boring. Ms. Brenner could make note-taking interesting! We had some fascinating activities such as debates for or against the ratification of the Constitution. The best thing about his lesson, though, was the effect the knowledge still has on me. The best thing is how I can watch Jeopardy and answer questions, even some that the contestants don't know! The knowledge I gained from that course will always be with me, not just until the summer holidays. How many other lessons can I say the same about? Brenner's influence on me was not limited to the knowledge I gained. He has genuine concern for all of his students. Every morning, without fail, he asked me how I was. Whenever I was in a bad mood, she was usually able to calm me down and when I felt bad she was always very understanding and caring. Mrs. Brenner was like a second mother. He listened to my problems and tried to help me, he joked and hugged me and reassured me when it was needed most.
