Topic > Prophecies in the Bible are not a myth - 1163

According to the dictionary a myth is a traditional story, especially concerning the ancient history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon and typically involving supernatural beings or events ..(Oxford dictionaries.). On the other hand, there are no myths in the Bible because the Bible tries to explain the world we live in. It is a historical account of the world and its surroundings before, during, and after Jesus' time on earth. Therefore, the Bible itself contains a chronology of historical events that includes places, historical figures, and even coincides with other non-biblical events. For example, mythical stories aim to explain how things came to be, but they do not point to a particular place or involve humans, or provide any information regarding the future. However, in the Bible, events take place in places that are still known today, with historical figures such as Pontius Poilate, Herod, Jesus and many other characters. The Bible provides insights and information about many more days to come and the distant future. Although the Bible is not a scientific book, it is accurate regarding scientific knowledge and facts. This is because in the Bible God is the creator of the world and is omniscient. In 1861, the French Academy of Sciences claimed to have found 51 scientific errors in the Bible. However, with the progress of scientific research and time, the 'errors' found by the French Academy of Sciences were errors caused by the Academy itself and not by the Bible. There were some facts written in the Bible long ago, and as life progressed we began to discover and testify to them. One such fact is the spherical Earth: The prophet Isaiah, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote...... in the middle of a sheet of paper... by people or this has proven to be true over the years. In conclusion, it is widely believed that myth and religion are two different things. Religion involves a number of non-mythical elements including a moral code, belief in a supreme being, and duty to the Church, but religious beliefs can sometimes be confused with a myth because it is a supernatural thing. So far the Bible has proven that the identity of the Word of God truly exists in everything, and if there is something in the Bible that is not yet clear or has not yet been proven, that does not mean that it is a myth, and it does not mean that there is a myth. in the Bible because what is in the Bible is true. However, human minds cannot understand the unlimited god with their limited minds, so they think that what is in the Bible is a myth, but in reality the Bible has no myths because the Bible is the word of God and everything is as it is written.
