The decision to study a BSc in Primary Education was an easy choice as it is an exciting opportunity, which fulfills my passion of being a teacher. I have wanted to pursue a teaching career from an early age, it came from being a sports leader and mentor to the younger children at my primary school. It was also greatly influenced by the birth and development of my younger relatives as the pace and scope of their learning amazed me. Watching them acquire basic language and math skills highlighted to me that teaching is a very important profession and that there is no more rewarding role than seeing a child reach their full potential. My experience working in a local primary school confirmed my career aspirations allowing me to broaden my knowledge and skills to be able to support staff and pupils across the curriculum. I have had the opportunity to observe and use a variety of teaching styles and behavior strategies.
