I followed the seating route, looking for the paper that said, "Brenton Walker." This put me in the seat right after my twin sisters. Our school counselor briefly went through the program with us, and then we practiced our entry and exit methods for the ceremony. The tests lasted about two hours. June 15, 2014, graduation day has finally arrived. This was the day I had looked forward to for my 12+ years of school and so much more. I woke up in a happy mood. Not to mention, the aroma of my mother's blueberry pancakes filling the entire house was a clue that something great was happening today. My sister and I ate our pancakes and spent the day preparing for graduation. The only thing I had to do at the last minute was cut my hair. Around 4 I began preparations for the ceremony. I ironed the robe, removing any wrinkles. These warm feelings took over my body, both anxiety and accomplishment. The feelings intensified as I kept checking the time on my Galaxy phone to make sure I wasn't leaving the house too late.
