The fear that a person previously convicted of a sex crime will be released from prison and return to sexually assaulting or raping people. They have every right to ask themselves this question and to worry about it, but we must also think about the REHABILITATED people. The consequences they face are not good for their character or well-being. Ever since we started discussing the sex offender registry, a very unique question keeps coming up that I would like you to ask. Is it right that a man who commits murder, serves his sentence in prison, gets out and is guaranteed all his rights? He is not obligated to let the public know about his past, nor does he have any life restrictions, yet most people would consider murder more lethal.
