Teen CurfewTeen curfew has become more popular around the world. Teen curfew essentially helps teenagers stay out of trouble during certain hours. It keeps the community safe and less crime occurs. What we think is happening is absolutely not true. Curfews do not keep teenagers out of trouble, break the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, and do not significantly reduce the crime rate. Curfews don't keep teenagers out of trouble at night. Create further problems by forcing them to stay at home. They will leave the house at any time of night to go to a party or have fun. Leaving home after curfew; with parents thinking their child is in bed. When the parent finally notices that the child is missing, they will have no idea where the child is. He goes away for a few hours with his friends before curfew and never comes back. They may return to the house whenever they feel well. Skip curfew and arrive late at night. A curfew is just a set time when you can stay indoors and when you can go out. It is not a law, nor an amendment. Therefore teenagers are not required to follow this rule. You could cause depression in the teenager with the curfew. They won't be able to hang out with their friends from Apple Bee. They feel like they are being held captive at home. The child could cut himself. Maybe they even think about suicide because they can't understand why they can't just go out for fun. A huge risk that the teenager gets hurt because the parents don't know where the child is. He may have been kidnapped or involved in a car accident. Since parents have no idea where their child is; cops will have a hard time knowing where to start the search. Causing confusion in the family and... middle of paper... you could leave a bad trace in the parents' file. Causing them not to have the same advantage as everyone else in the world. They won't be able to get that high paying job they wanted because of their child. The accident was not their fault, but because the child decided to do it. It is the parents' fault if they do not observe them or do not know where they reside at any time of the day. Causing the parent to get into trouble and take the blame for the child's mistakes. All in all, teen curfews don't work unless there are parents willing to follow those rules and teens who agree with the terms of the curfew. If you don't have the consent of the two, it won't work. Until the facts and statistics come in to prove that teen curfews work. Just another idea with no real effect in the world. Youth curfews are not effective in today's society.
