PurposeThis research is to evaluate the ISM program currently offered at the Faculty of Information System Management (Information System) of Teknologi Mara University (UiTM) and the Faculty of Computer Science (Graphic Software and Multimedia) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The assessment consists of the requirement, fees, background and so on. In this research to compare the weakness and strength that both universities include in the required field. Background Faculty of Information Management of Teknologi Mara University (UiTM) offered the course starting from diploma, bachelor, master and doctor of philosophy. In this faculty you can choose between 4 bachelor's degree courses, for example information management, knowledge management, library management and records management. In this course there are optional subjects that must be chosen. For example, the information management system student needs to choose the optional subject from the library or register to meet the requirements according to the campus. This is because the faculty wants students to have extra knowledge not only based on the course but also on other courses. The vision and mission of this faculty is to be a world-class center of excellent education and research in the field of information management, knowledge management, library management and records management. The Faculty of Computer Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has been offering the course starting from Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Philosophy. There are 5 degree programs to choose from, such as Bioinformatics, Computer Networks and Security, Database Systems, Graphics and Multimedia Software, and Software Engineering. UTM's vision and mission is to be a leader in the development of high quality products... middle of paper... single focus. For UTM, the faculty must provide optional languages ​​such as Arabic and Mandarin for the student to know other languages ​​for his future. In addition to the optional subjects, the faculty must create a subject on history such as Malaysian history to ensure that the student not only masters the main subject. Costs and Benefits From this research, the student is recommended to pursue a bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from UITM because the cost is cheaper and is fully supported by governments. Furthermore, the student will learn everything about information system management in the database, multimedia, management and linguistic fields. Meanwhile, in the Bachelor of Computer Science (Graphics and Multimedia Software) they only learn their course and not other things like languages ​​and so on. Additionally, the rates are slightly higher for a student who primarily lends PTPTN.
