Each year, illegal immigrants spend billions of dollars on sales, payroll, utility, property and income taxes that include Medicare, unemployment and Social Security taxes to federal, state and local coffers. Many illegal immigrants file annual federal and state income tax returns and perform the same duties as Americans who pay taxes, as they are subject to the same income tax laws.
