They are in charge of researching markets, making detailed proposals on timing, locations, vendors, staff and budget, as well as securing and arranging speakers, guests, tickets, parking, security, first aid and equipment rental. Other roles that event managers/organizers usually have extend up to and after the event where they have to supervise event cleanup (such as waste collection, stage dismantling) and post-event evaluation. it involves a career as an event manager/organiser and the roles, qualifications, skills, salary, prospects and opportunities they have. Discussion2.1 HistoryEvent management and planning as a field is relatively new, having only become popular in the last two decades and before then the work was not taken very seriously.
