Children need to make friends, without friends they will not have any social interaction with children their age and making friends will become more and more difficult as the years go by. So instead of teaching children to stay away from all strangers or you will get eaten, we should teach children which people to be friends with and which to stay away from. In “Little Red Riding Hood” children are told to stay away from strangers and are never mentioned which people are good and which are bad to befriend. Parents should not even tell the story to their children and should teach them the lessons themselves. Let parents teach their children who is good and who is bad. Parents' job is to teach children, so why rely on an old story to teach children
