Topic > Essay on mass media and ideology - 1004
The message of ideology that was represented at the time of liberation (1944) was based on the concept of the people of the city and their strength against the occupiers. Most of the images then were positive on the French front, which obviously had to try to strengthen its willpower in the fight against the enemy of the time. Having the advantage of being able to see the difference between what was shown then and what was not shown, one can conclude that the main purpose of the mass media was to be nationalistic. During the liberation period, the mass media did not cover the foreign aid that helped the French, or the women, who were also part of the scene to revive the country.
