Database is a collection of programs that allows users to create and maintain data. The other meaning is database which collects some related files which are usually included, referenced at the same time as each other. A good feature of a database is that the data and records contained in different files can be easily organized and saved from harm in danger when using specialized database management software called database management system (DBMS) or database manager. A database management system (DBMS) is a group of organized data and a set of programs that have access to some data. This is a collection of related data without any doubt and therefore it is a database. Data collection, usually called a database, contains information directly related to a business. The main goal of a DBMS is to provide a way to store and save some database information that is both well-placed and useful. From the data, the user knows facts that can be recorded and trusted with the meaning. For example, consider the names, phone numbers, and addresses of people we may know. There are many different types of DBMS, a variety from small systems that run on personal computers to huge systems that run on main frames. These are some examples of database applications such as mechanized library systems, bank ATMs, flight reservation systems, and mechanized parts inventory systems. There are many functions performed by a database management system (DBMS) that are key components to making database management work. When we decide to build a DBMS in the company, we must first decide what type of DBMS we want. These are the ability to update and recover data, support concurrent updates, data recovery, security, ... half of the paper ... file types may have an internal structure, they are still considered "unstructured" because the data is contents in order in a database. Email is an example of unstructured data, because while a corporate HR manager's busy inbox might be organized by date, time, or size, if it were truly fully structured, it would also be organized by exact subject and content, without differences or diffusion, which is not practical, because people generally do not talk exactly about one topic even in targeted emails. The bottom line is that structured data and unstructured data have their own characteristics and advantages. We as users need to know how to handle both integrations in a database. We as users must also most likely pay attention to database storage. Works Cited Fundamentals of Database Systems Sixth Edition, Addison Wesley. Author by Ramez Elmasri
