I. My question “Well, Ashley, Jews and Christians didn't get along in the Elizabethan period,” my pastor said. Once I heard this, I was determined to research more information. I knew that Jews and Christians have always had their differences in what they believed religiously. I asked myself: What did each religious group believe? What did they agree on? What do I disagree with? I knew that in the past there had been persecutions for what a religious group could defend. I need to know more about why they were persecuted for standing up for what they believed in and expressing their values. From all the things I listed, I was able to formulate my research question: Why were Jews and Christians separated in the world? Elizabethan period? Later I managed to formulate an answer.II. My Research ProcessMy research took about a week. I began my research by doing some background reading on pbs.org. This website gave me information that led me to the Elizabethan period. From there I did an online search, in the Google search engine, why Jews and Christians were separated in Shakespeare's time. Among the many sites available, I chose to use Queen Elizabeth I – Jews and Catholics. On this site, the information about Jews and Catholics was well organized, there were many main topics followed by information that made it very easy to understand and provided some answers to my question. This website contained copyright information from the Elizabethan era along with a privacy policy. With this list I knew I was on a website with valuable information that I could use. All week I have been researching the city of Venice. On the Google search engine I looked for the Jewish history of Venice. ......middle paper......and Catholics. 2008. Network. March 3, 2012. ..
