YouTube is a video sharing organization founded in 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim, former PayPal employees. It is now the third most popular website in the world and is currently owned by Google. There are over 1 billion accounts registered on the website and 6 billion hours of footage are watched from the site every month. The success of the website has brought great benefits to people's lives and stories and helped change the world's problems. He has also created many new businesses and helped them succeed. Most importantly, it has helped teach, inform, and entertain an incredibly large online community. YouTube content covers just about every single topic you can think of. It can range from lighthearted comedy sketches to cat videos to easy-to-access and view news articles from around the world. The large amount of channels can add videos discussing any topic you want and get views and likes from other accounts. This can be a great motivation for the uploader to continue adding content to the large community. This can turn into a partnership with YouTube where they earn money by uploading high-quality videos, which means they can make a career out of it. The fact that there is a wide variety of videos uploaded can mean that anyone can be educated, entertained, inspired or can light a fire in themselves for change. A simple video can change a person's view on a certain topic, that person can go on to change other people's opinions, and so on. YouTube as a whole can be very influential and can possibly change the way the world views different issues. A single video has the potential to change the world's topics if it is taken seriously and the right... center of the card... can be anything. This can be used as a tool to make slow but positive changes in society and ultimately change everything for the better. The Internet is often overlooked as there are often negative news reports related to it. However, as more and more people succeed thanks to the Internet, why don't you ever hear about it? Why is everyone still wary about it? These are the questions that should be answered because once answered, many concerns should be eliminated and further progress for the better will be made.
