The form of propaganda that Hitler used successfully was his words. Hitler gave various speeches as dictator, however, his famous speech was his last speech at his treason trial. In this speech, he expressed his point of view before the trial. The whole point of this speech was that Hitler wanted to become the destroyer of Marxism. After being released from prison for his crime, he managed to gain control of the Nazi Party from other supporters, proving that he was an efficient user of propaganda. This shows that Hitler was an accomplished user of propaganda, but the purpose of Joseph Stalin's propaganda was not blatantly obvious. Stalin, however, used propaganda in his speech at the 15th Congress in 1927, when he told the people what they wanted to hear and used this speech to promote his cause. This speech allowed him to further gain the support of the people and justify why Trotsky had not been chosen as leader.
