Egypt has had many important and influential periods. A great country of kings, pyramids, royalty dating back to before Christ (BC), which are still relevant today. Indeed, its influence still has a notable shape on today's political agenda. The main sources of information about ancient Egypt concern its many monuments. The current context in Egypt is influenced by many different variables which consist of social, political and military geopolitics. Therefore, Egypt's rich history will always be a sensitive topic when it comes to the dynamics of world politics. The main Egyptian language is Arabic. The language is spoken by almost all of the Egyptian population. “This colloquial dialect of Arabic is believed to be the most widely understood, mainly due to the popularity of Egyptian films and TV.” (Egyptian Arabic, 2011) There are multiple dialects of the language depending on the region of origin. However, the most printed material is however the culture is still very well known for its reckless human rights. Cairo, Egypt's capital, preserves fossils of much of the free world that Egypt once struggled with. Cairo has a population of nearly eleven million people and is one of the largest tourist cities in the Middle East. The ancient city, Cairo, offers an incredible selection of shopping, entertainment, culture and nightlife. The northeastern Egyptian location is nicknamed the "City of a Thousand Minarets" and has been in the same location along the Nile River for decades. With the pyramids of Giza nearby, Cairo is a blend of the old and new modern lifestyle. Cairo's new look offers caviar tourists new skyscrapers, fashion and shopping malls along the region.
