Ricardo is a diplomat and is one of Neena's lovers and his family is given a small cottage to live in so that he can visit her comfortably whenever he is in town. He, however, is more comfortable in his home than in hers. His wife, Mrs. Montalban, dedicated her life to both of her children, Anna and Pablo. Pablo is the more artistic brother. He doesn't really express his creativity on paper or through any medium, but he's seen more than kids his age. His creative experience has given him a window into life that makes him see everything differently. And the biggest advantage he has is that Ruskin Bond helps him make it happen and not let it go to waste. He loves watching movies and Bond accompanies him. Her sister, Anna, draws and there is a supernatural element to her. This is noticed when he sees a young girl and no one else can see her until one day she appears on the wall.
