For many people my mother was just a housekeeper, but for us she was everything. My mother did not have the opportunity to finish school and receive a proper education due to the lack of money in her country. When my brother and I graduated from high school, I know my mother was proud of us. Being the first in our family to finish high school was a great accomplishment. Now I'm studying at university, working hard to be successful and I owe it all to my mother. “She will forever be a warrior and I am proud to be the product of her greatness” (Jacobsen, 45). He sacrifices so much for me and my brother. I admire her so much; I am the woman I am now thanks to her. Without his sacrifices, hard work and dedication I wouldn't be where I am now. From an early age he taught me to be independent and to work hard. He always pushed me to strive for the best and succeed. I owe everything to my mother. She came to the United States with nothing and is still a humble, hard-working woman. Everything I do is thanks to her. I want to be able to return the favor for everything he has done for me. His sacrifices will be worth it
