The independent work I would give them would be modified for special education students and I would have them do half the worksheet instead of all of it to see their progress. Whenever I can, I will give them the simplest problems with the same concept. For students who are learning the lessons quickly, I will give them the hardest problems from the same lesson. I will make sure that students who do not understand the lesson do not feel rushed and I will give other students more work so that they can spend more time on the lesson.
