So shadowing a few times in high school will come in handy when I become a pharmacist because I will learn to use the tools that are used daily in the pharmacy. The most important piece of equipment I was able to observe while shadowing was the “Tablet Counting Machine”. Since the pharmacist's job is to fill the medical prescription; the best tool they can use is “Pill Counting Machine” because these machines count pills accurately and quickly without wasting time. The pharmacist I shadow was also a relative of mine, so not only did I learn what a pharmacist does from the outside, but I got to ask questions personally and learn more about his career. One of the best pieces of advice the pharmacist gave me was: "Pharmacy is a job where you have to pay attention because you are dealing with a whole variety of different medications, so not paying attention can cause life and death risks." of patients"
