An employer does not guarantee that there will be no risks, but that existing risks will be reduced to a reasonable extent. This duty is both a common right and a statutory duty. For comparison purposes only (the appellant has not alleged breaches of the statute), statutoryly, the employer's duty includes all those at common law. Section 6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Chapter 88:08, provides for the general duties owed to an employee by a
