The testimony of faith 2. Prayer3. Giving Zakat (supporting the needy)4. Fasting in the month of Ramadan5. The Pilgrimage to Mecca When I look at the five pillars, I can immediately see the comparisons to the Christian faith. As Christians and children of God, we believe in showing our faith and the power of prayer. The Bible also tells us something about giving to those in need because we may need it too. Jesus also taught fasting and dedication to God. The pilgrimage to Mecca is almost like going to church also to increase the spiritual maturity of the Christian. Islamic people also have a holy book called the Quran which is like the Bible. The Islamic religion is very interesting to learn about. As in any religion, there are always comparisons and differences. Just as the Islamic people remain faithful to their religion, we as Christians have the responsibility to remain faithful to the one true God, who is the creator of Heaven and Earth.
