'F' for Force, deals with excessive and unnecessary force used on individuals by police officers in any context. “A” which stands for abuse of authority, deals with law enforcement officers who use their power to get what they want. This can be done to the public or by higher-ranking officers to lower-ranking officers. “D” which stands for discourtesy, refers to officers who display rude and inconsiderate behavior to the public while on duty. “E” which stands for ethnic slur, deals with prejudice against the public based solely on race, culture, religion or nationality. There are departments within police departments that deal with these types of cases which in many cases lead to disciplinary action
