Glenn Fukushima's recommendations for Japanese Americans are to; inform Japanese about Japanese Americans in the context of diversity in the United States, inform Japanese about the role of Asian Americans, inform Americans about Japan, inform Asian Americans about Japan, and encourage other Japanese Americans to engage in Japan and other global issues and actively participate in discussions and debates on public policy and foreign policy issues.
