It was different taking a test because I'm so used to just doing homework and clinical hours. It was nice to have a test. It gave me a chance to see what I had real mastery over and what topics I might need to go back and look at. It validates my knowledge and shows me that I can learn something, reflect on it, then take it out and put it into practice. Personally, I took this course as the last course of my EECIS specialization. I felt that I would have learned and benefited more by taking it from the beginning. I think all students in education should take this course first as a prerequisite. You learn how much the first three years can make or break a child. It is helpful to know the information from this course in your professional career so that you know and have a bank of information to refer to when something happens with a young child and you try to understand what is going on. It's good to know where it all starts and what can really influence what happens in the following years. Overall, after taking this course, I have come to the conclusion that I really want to be a part of these children's lives. One person can make such a big difference and if I could do that for just one child or one family, it would make me feel so amazing and
