The supermarket was an interesting sight to see, although not many people would stop to look at it, it still had its own unique charm. From the outside it looked like a normal supermarket that you might see as you drive by, but once you entered it was like the walls came down and you entered a new world. With a minimum of thirty islands, it was packed with everything you could want. From vegetables to hygiene, from mechanic's equipment to video games, from toothpicks to wooden planks, it was easy to find yourself lost more than once inside the store. Gavin found himself lost at least five times during his journey to find what he needed, aisle after aisle filled to the brim with overpriced items. Even though that was the store where he usually shopped, the managers of the place decided to play hide and seek with their customers, moving the vegetables to the far right wall and replacing the empty space with cereals. Something very inconvenient if a person was in a hurry. Gavin shook his head and looked at his basket. He had two liters of milk, some spices to cook with, toothpaste and a box of sleeping syringes for the nights they needed them. No longer were they sold in the form of simple pills, the technology boom insisted that injections into the bloodstream with a variety of "natural" chemicals could cure any kind of ailment. Faster relief, a faster time between feeling drugged and being in great shape. "That's all." He said and turned from the direction he was going, towards the front self-checkout counters. With each step on the fake wood floor, which actually did astonishing justice to the real wood, Gavin turned a corner and narrowly missed hitting someone... middle of paper... if we connected with each other Soon? I'd like to get some more back." He said hesitantly and waited for a response. Callie stood up, being almost as tall as him, and looked into his eyes with a bit of playfulness. “Don't sell out. You looked like I would scold you for asking such a thing. Yes, I'd like to update some more. Maybe the day after tomorrow?” he asked. "Sure. I live right next to the memorial park, so maybe near the southwest entrance?" "Okay then." She said and waved at him, watching him turn and walk towards the highway and turn left. Who would have thought that someone you hit with your bike could be someone as important to your story as you are. Hope and happiness began to grow and swell in Gavin's spirit. A smile suddenly appeared on his face as he walked up the stairs and towards the door of his apartment.
