I would say they go together in the sense that God started everything and as the world evolved, we as humans had to evolve too. I can see where humanity began in the state of nature and evolved to the civilized man described by Jean Jacques Rousseau in our textbook. They worked with their hands, with the earth and according to a day and night cycle. They used what they had to get what they wanted, but as the population grew, so did the people's needs. It therefore caused greater demand and as we were called to take dominion and subdue, we had to grow wiser and larger and make room for the growing population. Which, over time, has proven that it could ultimately spell our own demise if we don't give back what we took so much from. There are aspects of evolution that I personally don't fully understand when talking about a walking whale. I'm not sure if we are talking about what will happen or if it has already happened. This is what I'll say about that: I'm not sure why we need a walking whale when we have one
