Abortion is legal in many places around the world, but that doesn't make things better as it allows people to kill babies. People should never be able to take the life of a poor made-up child who can't protect himself. You wouldn't be in this world if your mother had gone for an abortion. Abortion is a very controversial topic because it is not right to put a woman at risk of harming herself or taking away a life that she could one day thrive and become a great person. Abortion has many different definitions depending on which side you are on. In many countries there is a very controversial debate about what abortion actually is. It started to get really big when people on both sides of the debate lobbied and protested against parliament in the 1970s-80s. Abortion is the intentional termination of a woman's pregnancy so that she cannot have one or more children. To have an abortion you would have to pay a doctor, nurse or chemist to kill the fetus, ending any possibility of life. Different people and different methods of abortion can also cause costs to vary depending on how it is performed. Pro-lifers believe that having an abortion is the murder of human life. While pro-choice people think this is ok. Not only does abortion have a definition, but there are also many different methods of abortion. There are many different ways to have an abortion, but they all seem equally harmful as the next one. Abortion can be performed with medical therapy or surgery. Abortion can occur naturally, through a miscarriage or through human hands. In the 19th century they took an instrument and it simply scraped out the living fetus from inside its mother. Some of the others who didn't want the case overturned thought it wasn't a moral issue but they thought it was important. Even with these few who thought it should be left alone, those who thought it should be overturned were in a clear majority over the rest. This shows that pro-lifers are returning to the field and gaining a better chance of overturning the case and making abortion illegal again. Hopefully one day soon, abortion will be illegal. With the rise of pro-lifers there is light at the end of the tunnel. One day it may be illegal to kill a baby just because the mother doesn't want it. It will be illegal to kill an innocent child who can grow up and make a name for himself. This controversial topic will no longer be controversial and children will be able to grow and thrive without the risk of being legally killed.
