Aristotle decided that he would follow in Plato's footsteps and open one of his schools in Athens in 335 BC Aristotle was well known for his writings and new philosophies. This makes him the most influential philosopher in Western civilizations. Aristotle then read the stories of Socrates and then Plato. Aristotle then realized that Socrates had started philosophy and then, having Plato as a student, Plato began to dedicate his entire life to philosophy. This influenced Aristotle, realizing that each built on the other. These skills and the history of philosophy were then passed down to Aristotle. In which he was able to make himself known for his new philosophies. Aristotle died in 322 BC due to an illness from which he had been suffering for some time
