WHAT WERE THE EFFECTS OF GENGHIS KHAN AND HIS CONQUERING HORDE OF MONGOL FOLLOWERS? HAS IT HAD POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE IMPACTS?Wajia AliAP World History 2014Mr. McDermottDecember 14, 2014From a relatively tiny group of herders who continually and staunchly pursued the communal lifestyle of nomadic herders by transforming them into lustful but brutal "barbarians," the Mongol lifestyle had transformed into an exceptionally powerful empire that was at the same time vulgar and uncivilized although still ahead of its time, ideally. With perhaps the largest contiguous empire, the conquered land covered most of Eurasia. Led by a ruthless leader, the nomads of northern China achieved much more than an increasing amount of influence and size. This leader, Genghis Khan, arguably one of the most influential leaders in human existence, was famous for his ferocious brutality in warfare tactics, however, some of the most striking achievements were his ability to stimulate unity among a multitude of groups different cultures. , forms its version of government and stimulates trade and economic exchanges. The militarized strategies that commonly occurred between the various conquests were the result of personal experience and a nurturing aspect from the environment. Before his name Genghis Khan, Temujin developed by struggling with the cruelty of his natural environment. With frequent clan or tribal rivalries, Temujin became knowledgeable about the quest for survival and inherent betrayal among other people. Harsh environments instilled a sense of survival while the fear of being killed or conquered planted the growing seed of a need for power and security. Unique war styles that continually reproduce themselves... in the middle of paper... built roads that promoted trade and put more paper money into circulation, following the example of China, always backed by precious metals. Eventually, paper money also spread westward. Although paper money helped the Mongols for a limited time, excessive printing depreciated its value. The Mongol Empire also strongly supported peasants and instilled relief measures such as tax breaks and granaries. These actions provided insight into whether improving the peasant economy would increase tax revenues and be beneficial. Ultimately, despite the destruction and fall of the Mongol Empire, their politically advanced and military leadership, openness to all cultural aspects, and methods of improving the economy were mostly positive. and beneficial in terms of impact on the world.
