As an emerging graduate this May, I have chosen two possible paths with which to begin my career. The first would be to go back to school to earn a Master's degree in equine nutrition. The second option would be to go straight into the equine nutrition industry with a job. Both options offer me great opportunities and my expectation from the KER internship is that it will significantly benefit my professional goals, regardless of the path I take. What are your expectations from the KER internship program? I would first like to explain what I expect to experience with the KER internship. Overall I expect this internship program to be the pinnacle of my research career so far. I expect it will highlight my strengths and test me on my weaknesses, but I will in no way back down from these challenges. I expect it to highlight my horse handling skills, my organization, my ability to follow direction, and my ability to learn new skills quickly. I also expect it to test my knowledge of equine research and nutrition. I expect KER to be the right opportunity...
