In Genesis 6 God began to give Noah the plan to build his ark, and told Noah that he would save him and his family from the Flood. Noah and his family would live in the Ark until the end of the Flood. So Noah did as God commanded. God told Noah that he and his family must bring two of all living creatures to allow them to repopulate. The last thing God commanded Noah to do was find food that could be eaten. The Ark is now built and God has opened the windows of heaven and it begins to rain nonstop. Then Noah, his family, and all the animals that God had sent in pairs ran into the ark. Soon all the rivers and oceans overflowed and the water began to rise. The rain continued every day all day until all the land was submerged and the highest mountain was completely covered. Nothing could be seen or saved. The Flood Noah was six hundred years old when God told him to enter the Ark with his entire family and to allow the animals that God had selected into the Ark.
