Time. Time was one of the many things we were running out of. The oil fields ran dry and we couldn't produce enough biofuel to keep prices stable and people happy. Constant wars over useless ideologies and political differences, just when we should have been using those differences to solve our problems. To quote a well-known rapper. “We set the world on fire with the fossil fuels we purchased.” It's a little sad to see how low we've fallen, just when we thought maybe things were going to be okay, but they're not. That's when the world fell apart. Now a man's task is not to rebuild it, but to forge a new world. One where we can work together and maybe, just maybe, we won't mess up this time. The year was 2467. The Earth was dying and humanity killed it, but we refused to let our sinking ship take us down. The G7 nations, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, pooled every dollar, euro and yen they could, and brought together every physicist, astronomer and engineer they could find, so they could leave Earth behind, knowing they would abandon the people who couldn't leave with them. This is the story of Alexander Nelson, a human chosen to restore the remnants of our destroyed race to their former glory, one step at a time. 2682, Human Ship 001 It's about time. Humanity was awakening,... middle of paper... the zed. “It's impossible! The chances of them having tongues are practically non-existent!” “Yes, yes. So you got the translation right?" Alex asked, fiddling with an earpiece. "Yes, the earpiece also emits a small EM field that will allow them to understand you." Celeste explained. "Wonderful, and the dress?" “Exquisite, darling.” He said, using the highest class English accent in his database. “I'd say you're ready to start the show.” "I think so. How do we report them?" "... As." Celeste responded before disappearing and reappearing with what essentially amounted to digital fireworks, before sending them all skyward in a stunning display of electric embers. However, it wasn't long before Alex gasped at the sight, because another light flashed through the air, this time from a balcony of the castle, from the pure white woman on the mountain.
