As our dependence on networks increases, our national infrastructure becomes more vulnerable to cyber attacks. This is because we rely heavily on networks to communicate, travel, manage our economy and provide government services. This is why cyber intrusions and attacks have increased over the last decade. With this increase in cyber attacks, information is exposed that can be used to gather intelligence; disrupting critical operations and imposing high costs on the economy. The only thing the intelligence community can do at this point is prepare the nation for future cyberattacks. DHS must recognize cybersecurity challenges and address them. DHS must also work with government agencies on cyber threats. As for the government, they should upgrade the network every 6 months to reduce what they can
