Reflection Paper on the Article“Who God Can Call by Bernard Thorogood”Faletoi AofiaPMS 325- Survey of Pacific EcumenismInstructor Joan A. Just looking at the title itself we can say that it is about who God will call. The article provides numerous and innumerable information on the history of the London missionary in the Pacific and around the world. The article shares some advantages and disadvantages that early missionaries faced during the early stages of Christianity in the South Pacific and elsewhere. of the world. With the assistance of the Holy Ghost and the power of the gospel, the missionaries were very successful. I will take you on a journey through three companies and their contributions. From there we can see and observe how these three companies connected with each other. I will focus on the pioneer society, the evangelical society and the ecumenical society. A pioneer society: A pioneer society is a group of people involved in gathering and implementing new ideas and methods. This assembly is guided and encouraged by their pioneering spirit. Pioneering spirit is the act of overcoming barriers and tackling new tasks without already knowing the solution to that particular problem. In many companies, the pioneering spirit ties the company's heritage and vision, therefore, reinforces its success. It is the willingness to endure hardship to explore new places or try new things. We can say that the pioneering questions... in the middle of the paper... are just matters of personal preference, but by asking questions openly and addressing the deeper questions about the connection between faith and order. Conclusion: In Conclusion, I believe that these three societies that I mentioned fully reflect the focus of the article “Whom God Will Call.” The pioneer society seeks new ways and new methods that will help them (the society) spread the gospel. It is an invitation to overcome barriers and tackle new tasks without already knowing the solution to that particular problem. The evangelical society claims that the center of everything is the Gospel. It is a call to give top priority to the “good news” (gospel) of salvation brought to sinners by Jesus Christ. Finally, it is a call from God to focus more on uniting Christians of various denominations, to be ecumenical. Whom can God call? Everyone.
