While effective meetings are essential to any organization and to getting work done, the majority of meetings I attend leave me waiting for a decision. These meetings also leave me tired and a little disillusioned with the company's vision. I think a good meeting is not dissimilar to a football team meeting. It should bring people together, facilitate decision making, assist people in taking responsibility, energize participants, and help build team effort within the organization.
