Simi Valley, California currently has three Walmarts lined up throughout the city. Why shouldn't it be placed in certain areas? It can defeat the culture of cities or historical monuments. Walmart doesn't have a good reputation and everyone knows it's cheap. What does this mean for the city? It lowers their reputation. Some places try to keep Walmart out, like New York City. Many people in New York City hate the idea of working for Walmart. They owe a lot of respect and dignity to work for Walmart. This is what makes New York City so unique and different from other cities. They try to keep big corporations out and persist with New York culture.
