Throughout history man has evolved from cavemen to the educated homosapius we are today. With evolution, various tools and technologies have been developed to deal with our problems in daily life. When there are problems we use what we know and approach it in a certain way to solve them. Different people handle their problems in different ways. In the world there are classical thinkers and there are romantic thinkers. Looking at the world classically means seeing things more than they are. You are able to take an object or situation and break it down into its different parts to analyze it. They are not only able to see what is right in front of them for its initial and typical use, but for multiple options and uses. Being a romantic thinker means seeing the object or situation in front of you, but not thinking about going outside the box and trying to analyze something to see if there is more. Regardless of the method, the ability to manipulate one's problems to adapt them to one's methods demonstrates the ability to continue in the search for knowledge and the will to improve oneself by demonstrating that control does not limit the controller. There are 8 ways of knowing. There is language, sensory perception, emotion, reason, imagination, faith, intuition, memory. Within classical and romantic thought, sensory perception, reason, and intuition are most commonly used. According to Pirsig, “The romantic mode is primarily inspirational, imaginative, creative, intuitive… The classical mode, on the contrary, proceeds according to reason and laws, which are themselves the basis of forms of thought and behavior.” Classical thinkers use sensory perception to look at the situation and then use reason to analyze the situation to see the underlying concept... at the center of the card... of knowledge as a tool and both take each problem and then shape it to their habitual processes. The scientific method and reason are the tools used by the classical thinker while the romantic thinker uses intuition. The ability to manipulate one's problems to make up for the lack of resources demonstrates the ability to continue in the search for knowledge. The company developed on this basis. These ways of knowing cannot exist without each other and together they have progressed society from primitive creatures to the intelligent creatures we are considered to be today, but we have seen a huge rift develop between a classical culture and the "counterculture" of romantic thinkers: two worlds increasingly alienated and full of hatred towards each other because of their differences”. But despite their differences, the two cannot survive without each other. To be a complete thinker a person must contain both ways of thinking.
