Topic > Globalization Conclusion - 1385

Every day we hear it on the news, we read it in the newspapers, we hear people talk about it... and in every single case the word globalization seems to have a different meaning. So, what is globalization? Many people around the world tend to ask this particular question, and after reading, researching, listening to what others have to say about it, and adding my own perspective on what globalization is, I have come to understand that understanding globalization is a very important part of learning about our human involvement with the environment and society. Globalization means worldwide integration between countries, economies, societies, capitals, goods, services, ideas to be shared across the world, in terms of business, globalization means integration of various world economies by shifting investments from a domestic environment to an international environment. (Siddhart, May 30, 2011)Everything has advantages and disadvantages, globalization is no exception. we should consider both sides. Most would say that the positives or benefits outweigh the negatives, but from my perspective I see globalization as equally acute in both its positives and negatives. Globalization is seen as a method of creating various opportunities for people, societies, cultures, organizations and countries. in the same way. (Cheng, 2000) It is certainly true that globalization has changed the way we live. We have entered an era of borderless countries and rapid change. According to Deepak Nayyar, globalization has led to more employment. However, we cannot demonstrate in advance that better results can be achieved by making job creation a key objective of international policies. But it is now up to us to test this hypothesis given the seriousness of the occupation... (half of the paper... is producer and consumer). Looking ahead, I believe that involving governments around the world to help crack down on "piracy" would be a great help to the industry, as they cannot fight this battle alone. Nowadays some countries enforce strict laws and penalties if caught practicing physical piracy, which helps the industry but only on a small scale as digital piracy costs the creative media industry major loss of revenue, for me it is very important that they join the fight against digital. piracy and apply severe sanctions to those websites, organizations and individuals that support, aid and facilitate the sharing of digital content without the permission of copyright holders. (cjerson on March 15, 2010) I believe that only then will we see a dramatic curb on "piracy" as a whole and the realization of gains or minor losses in revenue and jobs for the industry.
