Topic > Teenagers need curfew - 645

Our city council believes that teenagers should not be out on the streets after ten pm on weekdays and after midnight at weekends, but the guidance should be changed. Teenagers are on the streets at night and this is not always safe. Horrible things can happen at night. Adolescents should be given commands, but with leniency. They need bylaws because they are adventurous, to keep them out of trouble, and for safety precautions. Adventurous Teenagers Teenagers are adventurous, but some are responsible, so they should be a little lenient with the laws they want to enforce. Young people who work are sometimes required to stay late after work or stop working at 10 p.m. If the reason for the absence was justified, then there would be no problem. Otherwise, if they were out just to be in town, action should be taken. Teenyboppers love to hang out unsupervised. This is not an acceptable reason why teenagers should be out after 10pm if the law was passed. If the laws were in place, many accidents such as car accidents and drunk driving would not happen. Trouble Comes When many minors get into trouble, some would say: let's let teenagers be teenagers! Teenagers get to the age where they feel life is at their feet and they do whatever they want. When they do this they have a greater chance of losing everything in life. Problems creep in and what they thought they had is gone right before their eyes. How would they feel if one day they had the whole world and after one night of fun it disappeared? Life goes on day after day. One night spent disobeying the rules could damage the rest of their lives. So, to preserve the future of doctors, lawyers and so on, such strict rules should be enforced... middle of paper... without their parents' knowledge? If an officer saw them, there would be consequences for violating curfew. Law enforcement is not a bad thing to do for teenagers, it can keep them safe. Teenagers try to grow up so fast and try to be in an adult place that they're not ready for, and they make very unintelligent moves. How many teenagers get kidnapped while they're out late? How would that mother or father feel if it were a teenage child? Would they now wish they could stay home that night or have rules that prevented them from going out that night? Teenagers should have rules imposed on them, but with some leniency they need rules because they are adventurous, to keep them out of trouble, and safety precautions. Teenagers should be kept safe and rules help to do that, we need teenagers so that our doctors, lawyers and so on will take care of us when we are old.
