Americans in the mid-to-late 20th century faced many hardships. Minorities, especially African Americans, were still dealing with the aftermath of the Civil War. Americans faced a difficult challenge in deciding whether we should go to war with Vietnam. Bob Dylan, a singer-songwriter known for his political and social influence, was no different. He was the most influential song writer during the civil rights movement because he made the American people aware of the problems the nation was facing socially and politically. His name became known especially during the period of the civil rights movement. Bob Dylan had an influence on society in the 20th century through his reflection on the problems that existed during that turbulent time. Bob Dylan was best known for his songs during the civil rights movement. Dylan was a white, Jewish man, but he was deeply moved by the treatment of non-white citizens in the United States. This led him to write songs about the civil rights movement in America. The Civil Rights Movement was a worldwide political movement of the 1960s advocating equality before the law. Many reasons and causes lead to the civil rights movement. The most well-known event that would create the spark of the moment happened. This event took place in 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, when an elderly black woman named Rosa Parks was arrested for violating the bus rule. He refused to give up his seat to a white man. This event was the main spark that founded the Montgomery Improvement Association, an organization that strongly supported the civil rights movement. He may not have been responsible for starting the civil rights movement, but he gave the movement a boost. He wrote many songs during this movement and supporting it. He was also influential on emerging artists and musicians such as Joan Baez, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, etc. Not only them, but also the emerging artists of the future generation. No other artist has left as big of an impact on this world by writing songs and sending messages as Dylan has. In the eyes of the people he was one of the true heroes of the civil rights movement.
