The above command of Cassius to take their place was significant to the plot of the story and the conspiracy, Cassius' leadership made Caesar's assassination possible. This led to the development of the play's conflict a few scenes later. After the climax and the falling action - although they were mainly controlled by Brutus and Antony - we see Cassius used through his terrible action to finally bring the work to its completion. . During the Battle of Philippi, Cassius is seen to mistakenly order his army to advance, ahead of schedule, resulting in the enemy taking advantage of his mistake. His mistake led to the most provocative action Cassius could have ever taken. After noticing that he and his army were about to lose, he took his own life. This led to a series of events, Brutus seeing Cassius' defeat decided to take his own life. which took the plot even further until its epilogue. This previously mentioned series of events brought Julius Caesar to its climax
