As a student teacher, the primary responsibility is to learn and expand our knowledge, disposition, and performance. Through my observations I have learned that the most important point to establish is class expectations at the beginning of the school year. When you set classroom expectations at the beginning of the year and are consistent with them, students will know what is expected of them, which influences positive behavior. Another classroom management method I have learned is the proper use of clip charts and teacher-student discussions.
