Exploratory methodsQualitative research is one in which the researcher searches for qualities that cannot be reduced to numerically displayed values, with the aim of examining a multiplicity of nuances and complexity of a particular phenomenon under study (Leedy & Ormrod, 2013). Within this qualitative research methodology approach, there are several observation methods that can be meaningful and useful to any research study. As part of this assignment the author will answer questions six, seven, and eight of the review questions found in Paul Cozby and Scott Bates's book, Methods in Behavioral Research. Specifically, the author will address the dynamics of a case study, archival research, and content analysis, which can be seen in qualitative research. What is a case study? A case study is an observational method that provides a description of an individual study. Within the case study, the researcher focuses his or her direct attention and collects meaningful data for subsequent analysis, towards the study of an individual, a specific program or a particular event within a prescription for a specific period of time (Leedy & Ormrod, 2013) in which it will conclude through sharing the research studied through an in-depth research report. The advantage of this approach lies in the perspective that it may be the most suitable approach for conducting research where the particular topic has limited study and is useful for determining the necessary support within the research hypothesis ((Eisenhardt & Graebner , 2007; Leedy & Ormrod, 2013). Regarding the disadvantages of this approach, it is found to pose difficulties for the research to possess the ability to determine whether the re.... half of the article ......omiskey, C., Higgins, A., & Begley, C.
