Side DisplayThere are speculations that the iPhone 7 will have a side display that extends to the sides of the iPhone and will give more usable screen real estate. This will provide touch-sensitive or interactive parts that give access to system controls, message reading, swipe-to-unlock functions, music player controls, and more. 3. Buttonless iPhone 7 with Touch ID displayThe iPhone 7 may not have the mechanical Home button like its predecessors; instead it will use 3D Touch technology using a touch-sensitive part of the screen. Additionally, the iPhone 7's Touch ID fingerprint sensor can be moved to the side of the phone or the display screen. Currently, the ID fingerprint sensor feature is integrated into the Home button. Moving this function to the display will eliminate the need for the Home button whose functions will now be performed by 3D Touch. Once the Home button is gone, there will be additional space that can be used to enlarge the screen and extend the view from edge to edge. The space can also be removed entirely and make the phone smaller while still maintaining a larger screen. D-shaped headphones for iPhone 7
